A: 2-4 weeks. Promise.
Q: If I publish with Embers Arts, what percentage of my sales do I keep?
A: 100%
Q: Then I’m guessing you’ll be charging me for something….
A: Nope.
Q: How can that be?
A: The only costs you’ll incur will be editing and cover art, both of which you’ll do on your end with an artist and editor of your choice.
Q: So I can use an artist I know?
A: Of course!
Q: What if I don’t know an editor?
A: We have a team of immensely capable editors, headed by our Senior Editor Lily Jones. We strive to keep our editorial costs affordable.
Q: Any other costs?
A: You’ll have to pay for author copies, but those are decidedly inexpensive and vary on the length of your book.
Q: What are you getting out of this?
A: Our goal is to create a publishing collective that’s rich and varied and represents different voices and perspectives. We recognize that the traditional publishing model can take ages to produce books and our aim is to get as many high quality books out into the world that we can. We promote your book using our network and you’ll do the same. One by one, and book by book, we’ll create a supportive community for authors.
